Acupuncture is a part of Chinese Medicine that is used to balance the body's energy to help it heal itself. There are twelve main meridians and an imbalance in one or several of those meridians can result in symptoms in the body and mind. By inserting very fine needles into points along the meridians that are involved the body is prompted to rebalance its energy system and thereby heal itself.

I focus treatments to get at the root of the imbalance and aim for pain free insertion of needles.

My office is located in a holistic practice that includes Chiropractic, Massage, Nutritional counselling, and a Western Medical doctor.

Please call to make an appointment. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thank you,

I received my acupuncture education at the Maryland Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have also completed coursework in a form of Japanese acupuncture called Toyo Hari.
I have been practicing acupuncture for about 12 years in the northern Virginia area. I was drawn to become an acupuncturist after receiving acupuncture treatments myself. It helped me a great deal and I wanted to help people and do something more rewarding than I was doing at the time.
I am a member of the Acupuncture Society of Virginia
