Tap Into Your Potential for Better Health...Naturally!
Expert Acupuncture, Herbology and TuiNa - it works!
Are you an active person...and want to be able to continue your activities as you get older? My goal is to help you feel better quickly, experience a better quality of life and reach a better level of health in the future! Treatment is comfortable, relaxing, effective and tailored to you as an individual.
In private practice since 1996, I have successfully treated a wide variety of people with all types of health problems. My acupuncture practice is centrally located in NYC in the Flatiron/Chelsea area. I combine different styles of acupuncture and other modalities such as Tuina (Chinese medical massage), cupping, moxabustion and herbal formulations to help you achieve positive changes quickly.

My specialties include Acupuncture for Acute and Chronic Pain, Stress and Anxiety, Women's Health Issues, Digestive Issues and much more. As a Certified Sports Medicine Acupuncture Specialist, I combine orthopedic knowledge, testing and techniques with specialized acupuncture techniques for excellent results for my patients.

You do not have to continue to put up with your back pain, neck and shoulder pain and tightness, tension and frustration, insomnia or fatigue and lack of energy. People consistently get results with my natural approach, and often avoid medications or surgery.

Please, call me today to discuss your personal questions and concerns.
A native New Yorker, I have been a healthcare professional since the late 1970's. I love helping people and watching them reach their personal and professional goals. Through my work with others, I have also grown personally and professionally.

In my leisure time, I enjoy painting, going to see theater and film, concerts and being out of doors. The beach has always been a favorite place of mine. I love swimming and walking on the beach.
I practice Qi Gong everyday and in the past, studied with a master of Tai Chi Chuan for 15 years.

I have always been interested in Asian art and culture, but came to study acupuncture and Chinese medicine because of a personal health problem. Like many of my patients, I had tried all types of western medical drugs and treatments over a period of 5 years with no results. I suffered from an inner ear problem which resulted in debilitating attacks of dizziness and nausea. Finally, I had treatment with an acupuncturist. Soon after starting treatment, I had no more dizziness. I progressed from relief care through to maintenance care and have not had a recurrence in more than 25 years. I was able to regain my good health and enjoyment of life in a short time. I was a dental professional for years, but I returned to school to become a Licensed Acupuncturist and Certified Herbalist after such amazing and life-changing care with acupuncture.

My personal health crisis led me to change my life in wonderful and amazing ways!

My degree of the 70's was an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. While working in dentistry, I completed a BFA at Hunter College in painting in 1985. In the early 90's, I graduated from Tri State College of Acupuncture with a Master's in Science in Acupuncture and continued to complete a Post-graduate degree in Chinese Herbal Medicine. I have an additional certification in the practice of Zheng Gu Tuina, which is Chinese medical massage. I am also a Certified Sports Medicine Acupuncture Specialist. I feel that my professional work now is a wonderful mixture of science and creativity...and I love helping my patients!

I have been fortunate to have studied with many masters in the field from all over the world, such as Mark Seem, Bob Flaws, Richard Tan, Kiiko Matsumoto, Frank Butler, Tom Bisio and many others. I participated in a program of education and knowledge sharing in China with doctors in hospitals in Beijing and Shanghai.
I continue to read and study this rich medicine and the wealth of knowledge in the field. I incorporate Zheng Gu Tui Na and it's techniques of medical massage in my practice, as well as the orthopedic knowledge and techniques of Sports Medicine Acupuncture. I am always developing more depth and expertise which I am fortunate to be able to bring to my patients.
