Better Health Acupuncture
Specializing in CA Workers' Compensation, Federal Workers' Compensation and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). "YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT" is my basic philosophy. Authentic Chinese Medicine is scienfifically based and can be very effective when other treatments have failed. As an evidence based medicine, Needling Therapy (Acupuncture) has stood the test of time for over 5000 years as being the oldest medicine know to mankind in continuous use. It is the insertion and removal of filiform needles to stimulate acupoints (neurovascular nodes). Needling Therapy works primarily because of its interaction with the spinal afferent processing system, involving somatic nociceptive (pain), proprioceptive (muscle static load, length and position), and autonomic fibers, as well as other nerves of the body that provoke local, spinal, and centrally mediated control. Needling Therapy (Acupuncture) is never a single treatment, a course of 8 to 12 treatments is offen required to evaluate results. Acute (new) problems often respond sooner, with Chronic (old) problems needing more time to respond. Remember....Pain is Inevitable....Misery is Optional - "You Don't Have To Live With It" Voted "Best Physician 2012" Best Of The Desert
