She worked as a Spiritual Teacher/Healer for many years, became a Licensed Marriage, Child and Family Therapist, EMDR Approved Consultant, Hypnotherapist, Master Addictions Counselor, Rehabilitation Counselor, working with Somatic Therapies, Music/Art/Dance Therapy, Sand Tray, and EFT Therapy.

Dr. TruthSayer studied Traditional Chinese Medicine for 6 years prior to licensure, at Southwest Acupuncture College and American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has also studied with Jeffrey Yuan,DMS, 88th Generation Daoist Master and is the disciple of Li Chun Huang, MD,OMD, World Master of Auricular Medicine. Her background in Sports Medicine was motivated by a background as a professional dancer of Ballet/Modern and Jazz Dance. As an athelete she understands the rigors, the injuries and how to assist the healing process. She attained her Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with her dissertation on Transcendental Medicine, a system of mind/body/spirit Medicine.
She is the President of CSOMA, California State Oriental Medicine Association, and is the California Representative of the World Academy of Auricular Medicine. She is also a member of CAMFT, California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and is an Approved Consultant of EMDR, & member of EMDRIA.
