Acupuncture Physical Medicine (APM). Trained directly by Dr Mark Seem, the founder of Tri-State College of Acupuncture who developed APM over the past twenty-five years. APM is a modern approach to acupuncture that combines classics-based French-meridian acupuncture with Western physical medicine techniques; most notably trigger point dry needling.

I have used APM effectively to treat the following complex and chronic disorders: chronic pain, chronic fatigue, multiple allergies, and stress disorders, to symptomatic relief of internal medical complaints in the various organ systems of the body, including neurological, cardio-respiratory, gastro-intestinal, genitourinary, and gynecological complaints.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Much as in Western internal biomedicine, a TCM diagnosis is made by discerning patterns of disharmony based on an examination of a patient’s signs and symptoms. I combine TCM treatments with herbs, Tuina and essential oils as needed.

Traditional Japanese Acupuncture (TJA). TJA is a highly evolved method of hands-on palpation of the body for diagnosis and treatment. In addition to palpation of the radial artery, with TJA I palpate the abdomen (Hara) and the meridian pathways, feeling for depressions, indurations and sensitive points that guide diagnosis and treatment.
