There is a famous saying in the classic acupuncture texts from China: "Same disease, different treatment: different disease disease, same treatment." I will spend the time necessary to determine the imbalance that underlies your primary complaint. Addressing the underlying imbalance will resolve all associated symptoms. For example, one patient may present with a heat pattern, with headaches as a chief complaint. Another patient may present with cold-type headaches. Cooling the system of a person with the heat pattern will not only resolve their headaches, but also treat tinnitus, dry skin and eyes, insomnia and irritability, etc. Cooling the system of a patient with cold-type headaches, however, will exacerbate not only their headaches, but also all other symptoms of this underlying imbalance.

My patients always receive the custom-tailored treatment I believe will be most balancing at the time of their visit. Come see for yourself!
Bio
I have over twenty years experience in the healing arts. I have worked with a wide range of clients, from indigent mental health patients to fortune 500 executives; from hollywood stars to professional athletes. I helped establish the acupuncture program at Pebble Beach and I run a community clinic at a drop-in mental health clinic. I also am a clinical supervisor and tai chi instructor at Five Branches University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
