Affordable Effective Care
I am a Community Acupuncturist. I work at Roxborough Community Acupuncture - in the Roxborough neighborhood of Philadelphia. The clinic is open every day but Tuesdays. At RCA I strive to provide each individual patient with affordable effective care. Acupuncture is a mind / body / spirit medicine that can heal on all three of these levels. At RCA treatments are given individually in a group setting, to increase the healing energy for all. We use big comfy recliners for treatments so that everyone can be truly comfortable. Gentle music plays in the background setting a warm and inviting atmosphere. Many people sleep, meditate, or lounge comfortably during their treatment. Most people stay in their recliner for 45 minutes to an hour, but are invited to rest longer if they desire. The fee for treatment is based on what you can afford. We offer a sliding scale of $20 - $35 per treatment. That way you can afford to come in as often as necessary to get and stay better.
Acupuncture can treat a wide variety of ailments including but not limited to: pain, stress, digestive disorders, low back pain, headaches, infertility, arthritis, respiratory disorders, menopause symptoms, anxiety, depression, and insomnia. It can also help you quit smoking, loose weight, and increase your performance as an athlete.
Bio
I was born and raised in upstate New York. I have been practicing some form of movement and mindful breathing for most of my life. On my own personal path to wellness, acupuncture has been an incredible extension of my love and joy of the body and it's movements. Outside the clinic I can be found running around Roxborough, practicing yoga and/or meditation, or helping out the Roxborough Community.

Hi! Just wanted to let you know about a gifted caregiver!

I started participating in the Acupuncture program a LONG time ago with Sarah as my acupuncturist with issues/problems involving foot Neuropathy and stress. Sarah used a warm and kind approach to calm my apprehension and give me a sense of peace and assured caring.

Making certain that she understood me (mentally and physically) – Sarah had an appreciation of the “whole person” which gave her the ability to implement a more comprehensive approach.

Isn’t that really great? It’s real “TOTAL” healing! GO SEE SARAH.............it's WELL WORTH IT!
