Acupuncture Consultant
My interest in acupuncture and Asian philosophy dates back to the mid-1970s. Since then I have studied yoga, meditation, taiqi, qigong, shiatsu, acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. I have practiced at the HCMC Integrative Medicine Clinic, Bloomington Natural Care Center and at my own Riverpath Clinic, all in Minnesota. I developed an acupuncture internship clinical program at the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute and supervised acupuncture student interns there for 10 years. During that time I also developed an acupuncture rehabilitation seminar which was taught to third year students in the acupuncture program at Northwestern Health Sciences University. While at NWHSU, I also developed their curriculum for teaching electro-acupuncture. I currently serve on the Acupuncture Advisory Council to the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. I retired from practice in December 2015, but continue to serve on the AAC and as a member of the adjunct faculty at NWHSU. I am available to serve mentor to practitioners or clinics on electroacupuncture, scalp acupuncture, huatuojiaji acupuncture and treating patients with neurological disorders such as stroke, spinal cord injury, MS, etc. I'm also available as a consultant for TCM-related technology businesses.
