HealingWisdom Medicine: Chinese Medicine
Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine
HealingWisdom Medicine is a Chinese Medicine practice utilizing primarily Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Treatment is designed to create and maintain health, and was considered preventive medicine in its inception. Remarkably effective, it is commonly practiced side by side with Western Medicine and has evolved into an analgesic first aid technique that can bring incredible relief from pain. However, acupuncture and herbal medicine used simply as an analgesic often leads to only temporary pain relief. Yet, practiced in its original form, Classical Chinese Medicine excels at diagnosing and treating the root cause of these imbalances manifesting as painful symptoms. In this way, physical and emotional pain are effectively alleviated and resolved, leading to long term wellness.

Whether the treatment goal is to explore and dissolve the root cause of severe back pain or migraine headaches, or it is coping with an emotional distress such as depression or anxiety, a culture of mutual inquiry and discovery guides progress towards physical, spiritual, and mental healing in her treatment room. A growing awareness of the ways in which we hold and carry ourselves through life circumstance serve as profound medicine to the patient. It is within this philosophical and medical paradigm that Emily also incorporates wellness coaching and nutritional counseling into her primary treatment modalities of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.
