Acupuncture and Massage Therapy
Julie Jenkins
Julie approaches her practice of Acupuncture and Massage Therapy with passion for helping individuals experience the higher quality of life they yearn for. Her intentions are to approach each person with a nurturing, supportive foundation while providing encouragement for a better way of health. She looks at each persons health and their work together as a collaborative experience, making realistic goals and expectations that aren't overwhelming so that feeling better doesn't feel daunting or like a sacrifice. Her patients are as much a part of the health equation as she is.
Julie graduated from Bastyr University with a Masters in Acupuncture, and a Bachelor Degree in Oriental Sciences.  She also received her Chinese Herbal Certification, and trained in the treatment of Infertility, at the Jade Institute.  Recently, in order to expand her area of expertise, she trained in “facial rejuvenation” and the Mei Zen Acupuncture Cosmetic System for “anti-aging” protocol as well as Facial Rejuvenation Cupping.  She is also trained and specializes in Nogier Auriculotherapy, which is a treatment used to relieve symptoms of distant pathologies in the body, including pain reduction, via the ear.  Her passion for encouraging the health and well being of others began with her massage practice in upstate New York in 1998, and her desire to support and empower her patients on their individual paths to healing continues to inspire her everyday.
