Your Journey from Illness to Wellness
I’ve been a medical student for 2 years before I decided I didn’t have guts (pun intended) for the blood. I studied Political Science in Sarajevo, I was an English teacher in middle school (English as a second language), I worked as a linguist for the US Army in Bosnia and have been deployed to Kosovo before I earned (I love that word) Masters in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture (my acupuncture training).

After completion of a 4-yr Acupuncture training program (over 3,500 hours) I received my Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM), Bachelors in Health Science and became a NCCAOM Board Certified and Licensed Acupuncture Physician (not many people know we’re Primary Care Physicians).

I also received additional training in Dr. Tan Balance Method for quick pain relief in order to better help my patients.

I have extensive training in Acupuncture, Eastern and Western herbs, Cupping, Moxibustion, Tui Na, nutritional counseling, meditation / relaxation techniques, aromatherapy, quick pain relief and other modalities.

I am currently pursuing my doctorate at the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine and the PhD at the Shanghai University College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.
Bio
I come from a long lineage of barefoot doctors; herbalists, village doctors and energy healers. Growing up I watched and learned from my grandparents when/how to collect herbs and dry them in the attic (one of my favorite hideouts :)).
