Affordable Acupuncture
The tiniest needles can make the biggest differences
Our mission is to provide affordable, high quality acupuncture to the North Penn community.

For acupuncture to be most effective, patients need to receive it frequently and regularly — far more frequently and regularly then is practical for most people’s budget. As acupuncture has moved toward the mainstream, it has been forced into a paradigm of one-on-one treatments and high prices, which has decreased not only patient access but treatment efficacy.

Putnam Point offers both community acupuncture at $20 a session as well as private treatments at $60 an appointment. This allows people choice. Community acupuncture is done on a walk-in basis and can accommodate multiple patients at the same time which means you can come in with your friends and family and get treated together. Private appointments are available for those who wish to add massage or other treatments into their acupuncture session.
Bio
B.J. Putnam, L.Ac. was born and bred in rural Michigan. She grew up in a working class family and experienced first hand what chronic illness can do to folks on an already tight budget. While fully acknowledging that suffering is a part of being alive, she sees no reason for people to suffer if they don’t have to.

There are many jobs that she could have pursued which would accommodate her beliefs while paying her bills. But acupuncture helped her when she needed it and she finds the practice of it to be fascinating. The community acupuncture model suits her perfectly, because it allows her to treat a lot of people who wouldn’t normally be able to afford it while not alienating those who can. Private appointments give her the opportunity to keep her massage skills sharp and include other aspects of Chinese Medicine which she loves exploring.

B.J. obtained her Master of Acupuncture degree from the Won Institute for Graduate Studies in Glenside, Pa and lives with her husband, Floyd, in North Wales, PA. In her free time, she enjoys improv tribal style belly dance, working on her house, and hanging with her hubby.
