Why Acupuncture?

Acupuncture has the ability to help you with a myriad of issues that range from
Pain Management, Boosting Energy, Depression and Anxiety, Women's Health & more
Often times, patients seek out acupuncture when all else just hasn't helped or alleviated symptoms. My goal is to approach each patient holistically, not just based on symptoms alone. I believe getting healthier is a cooperative team effort that begins with your earnest desire to be better, and I'm here to support that process. With patience, getting regular treatments will boost your overall health and emotional wellness.

My practice focuses on treating emotional/depressive disorders, women’s health, fertility, pain management and general ailments, like the common cold. I use various East Asian complimentary modalities such as cupping, tui na massage, e-stim, and gua sha.

She travelled to Peten, Guatemala to study and volunteer as an acupuncturist with the organization Healer 2 Healer where she completed clinical rounds to serve local residents, as well as learning traditional healing modalities from local indigenous healers.

Outside of East Asian medicine, Walda is an avid student of nutrition, diet & lifestyle, breadth work and western herbology where she also studied with Peeka Trenkle at the New York Open Center.

During her studies at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, Walda founded TeaFèy Infusions, a local Brooklyn-based herbal tisane and tea brand focusing on “Tea For The Urban Lifestyle”. Walda created this bespoke tea brand based on her Haitian roots and a strong desire to personalize every cup of tea according to each individual. Walda incorporates East Asian medicine, Haitian (remèd) remedies, and her experience with western herbs and tea leaves to create custom blends for patients.
